Promoting New Authors
Conventional publishers are taking no chances in today's economic climate, and seem to be about as willing to actually lead and take risks as our politicians. The result is that many gifted new writers find the bar to publication is set higher for them than for established authors, a situation that is not only deeply unfair to authors but also prevents the reading public from enjoying fresh new talent.
